Scottish Hip Hop Charts

SHHC is an independent measurement and discovery project for Scottish hip-hop. The aim is simple: create repeatable platform-specific charts based on current public movement rather than lifetime popularity or editorial preference.

Why Thursday

SHHC publishes on Thursday evenings. A fixed weekly schedule keeps each chart period consistent and gives artists and listeners a clear, repeatable publication time.

What SHHC does not do

SHHC does not host audio or video, does not combine platforms using arbitrary weights, and does not describe itself as an official chart. Platform entries link back to the original monitored asset.

Built to expand carefully

YouTube and SoundCloud are the first SHHC chart platforms. Other services can be added later only where SHHC can measure them consistently and explain the method publicly.
